12-31-2007 Theft

Occurred between 12/31/07 and 1/1/08 in the 200 block of Black Horse Rd., Reinholds. Resident stated two of his unlocked vehicles were entered and various change was stolen in the amount of $70.00 (AB)

01-01-2008 Theft

Occurred between 1/1/08 at 0430 hours and 1/1/08 at 0550 hours in the 200 block of Black Horse Rd., Reinholds. Resident stated his unlocked vehicle was entered and property totaling approx. $350.00 was removed. (AB)

12-31-2007 Theft

Occurred between 12/31/07 and 1/1/08 in the first block of N. Market St., Reinholds. Resident stated a digital camera valued at $200 was removed from his vehicle. (AB)

12-31-2007 Vehicle Theft

Occurred between 12/31/07 and 1/1/08 in the 100 block of Black Horse Rd., Reinholds. A 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix, green in color, bearing PA registration PD5467T was stolen from the above location. Approx. value of the vehicle is $4,000. (AB)

01-01-2008 Theft

Occurred between 1/1/08 at 0100 and 1/1/08 at 1200 hours in the first block of N. Market St., Reinholds. Resident stated an I-pod valued at $150 was removed from an unlocked vehicle. (AB)

12-31-2007 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 12/31/07 and 1/2/08 in the 300 block of W. Main St., Adamstown. Unknown actors broke into the pavilion at the Adamstown Grove and caused approx. $250.00 in damage. (AB)

01-03-2008 Theft

Occurred between 1/3/08 and 1/4/08 in the 400 block of W. Swartzville Rd., Reinholds. Unknown actors removed 5 aluminum dump truck wheels from the driveway area of a residence. The wheels are valued at approx. $1,250. (EC)

12-31-2007 Theft

Occurred between 12/31/07 and 1/2/08 in the 300 block of S. Muddy Creek Rd., Denver. Unknown actors removed various copper wire from a trailer. The trailer was parked in the above area which is a PP&L sub-station. The value of the wire is approx. $2,570. (EC)

01-04-2008 Underage Drinking/Public Drunkenness

Occurred 1/4/08 at 2132 hours in the 800 S. 4th St., Denver. Kelly Sweigart, Wollups Hill Rd., Denver, 19 years of age, was at a high school basketball game while under the influence charges of Underage Drinking and Public Drunkenness were filed against Sweigart. (DB)

01-06-2008 Burglary

Occurred between 1/6/08 and 1/7/08 at Hefty’s Bar & Restaurant, 336 Main St., Denver. Unknown actors gained access to the establishment by breaking a glass pane on a door. Nothing was taken from inside the business. (DB)

01-04-2008 Vehicle Theft

Occurred between 1/4/08 and 1/7/08 at 403 N. 6th St., Denver. A 1992 International 4900 Tank Truck, red in color, bearing PA registration YFV-2050, owned by Leffler Energy was stolen from the above location. There was 129 gallons of ultra low sulfur diesel fuel in the tank. The truck is valued at $25,000 and the fuel is valued at $4,000. (DB)

01-07-2008 Crash

Occurred 1/7/08 at 1447 hours at Wabash Road and Line Road. A 17 year old male from Ephrata failed to stop properly for a posted stop sign, pulled into the intersection and was then struck by Joyce Greenly of Denver. As a result of the crash the vehicle the 17 year old was driving rolled and was pinned against a telephone pole. The 17 year old driver and a 14 year old passenger were transported to Reading Hospital. Joyce Greenly was transported to Ephrata Community Hospital. All parties had minor to moderate injuries. (EC)
