11-1-2007 Areest

Elden Leslie Woolf III, 34 years of age, Spring St, West Lawn, PA, and Justin Alan Reid, 18 years of age, Revere Blvd, West Lawn, PA, were both charged with Theft and Criminal Conspiracy after they removed six aluminum tire rims from a property in the first block of Willow St. in Adamstown Borough. The rims, valued at $250.00, were not recovered. Woolf and Reid will be sent a summons to appear before MDJ Nancy Hamill at a later date. (AB)

11-1-2007 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 11/11/07 and 11/12/07 in the 7 00 block of S. 4th St., Denver. Patricia Kieffer, S. 4th St., Denver, reported unknown suspects spray painted a shed and parts of her residence. Approximate damage amount is $500.00. (DB)

11-11-2007 Burglary

Occurred between 11/11/07 and 11/14/07 in the first block of Connie Dr., Denver. Barry Musser, Reinholds, reported a home he owns on Connie Dr., Denver, was entered and a section of copper pipe was stolen. Approximate value of the pipe is $10.00. (EC)

11-15-2007 D.U.I.

Occurred 11/15/07 at 2222 hours in the first block of Snyder St., Denver. Arrested: Scott Eugene Reider, 43 years of age, E. Summit Dr., Stevens. Reider was driving without headlights and was driving erratically. On stopping Reider, he displayed signs of intoxication. Reider failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood tests. Tests results indicated Reider’s BAC was over the legal limit. Charges of DUI and other summary traffic violations will be filed against Reider. (DB)

11-17-2007 D.U.I.

Occurred 11/17/07 at 0048 hours in the 100 block of W. Church St., Denver. Arrested: Christina Joanne Wentzel, 34 years of age, Stevens Rd., Stevens. Wentzel was driving at a high rate of speed. When officers attempted to stop Wentzel’s vehicle she failed to yield for approximately ¼ of a mile. Wentzel did attempt to make a u-turn in the 300 block of Main St., Denver, at which time she jumped the curb, and traveled into a parking lot. Wentzel then stopped the vehicle. Wentzel did display signs of intoxication and failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Wentzel was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results indicated Wentzel had a BAC of .150%. Charges of DUI will be filed against Wentzel. (EC)

11-17-2007 D.U.I.

Occurred 11/17/07 at 1611 hours in the 300 block of W. Rt. 897, Reinholds. Arrested: Robin Eugene Fritz, 50 years of age, Kramer Mill Rd., Denver. Fritz was stopped for erratic driving and displayed signs of intoxication. Fritz failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results indicated Fritz had a BAC of .184%. Charges of DUI will be filed against Fritz. (WC)
