10-16-2007 Crash

Occurred 10/16/07 at Spur Rd. and Rt. 222 at 1708 hours. Joseph Gallo, Heatherwood Dr., Ephrata rear-ended Lynnette Albert of West Chester. Albert stopped for a red light at the intersection and Gallo failed to stop and rear-ended Albert. Charges are pending against Gallo. (EC)

10-18-2007 Crash

Occurred 10/18/07 at 0116 hours in the 100 block of N. Reamstown Rd., Stevens. Joel Rineholt, N. Reamstown Rd., Stevens, was traveling southbound and lost control. Rineholt sheared a D&E pole and damaged a mailbox. Rineholt then left the scene and drove to her residence on N. Reamstown Rd. Rineholt was not injured. Rineholt charged with Carless Driving and Hit and Run. (EC)

10-19-2007 Theft

Occurred 10/19/07 in the 100 block of W. Queen St., Stevens. Roy Hoover, W. Queen St., Stevens, reported two bicycles were stolen from his front yard. Bicycles were valued at $205.00. (WC)

10-19-2007 D.U.I.

Occurred 10/19/07 at 2340 hours in the first block of W. Church St., Reamstown. Kimberly Roth, 48 years of age, N. Reamstown Rd., Stevens, was westbound on W. Church St. and observed driving erratically. Roth was stopped and displayed signs of intoxication. Roth failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood alcohol test. Test results indicated Roth had a BAC of .161%. Charges of DUI were filed against Roth. (EC)

10-20-2007 Harassment

Occurred 10/20/07 at 0305 hours in the 200 block of Hill Road, Denver. Michael Campbell, 23 years of age, E. Marion St., Lancaster will be cited with Harassment after an incident. (EC)

10-20-2007 Retail Theft

Occurred 10/20/07 at 1715 hours at Weaver Markets, 2610 N. Reading Rd., Denver. Hilary S. Kreider, 27 years of age, Mifflin Dr., Mohnton, PA, was observed placing numerous packs of saffron in her purse. Kreider was charged with Retail Theft. (EC)
