10-02-2007 Retail Theft
On October 2, 2007 at 1415 hours unknown actors entered the Blockbuster Video at 2595 N. Reading Rd., Denver and left with various video games. Total loss is approximately $150.00. (EC)
10-04-2007 Theft
Between October 4th and October 5th, 2007, unknown actors removed a Dell laptop from the property of High Concrete, 125 Denver Road, Denver. The laptop is valued at approximately $2,000. (EC)
10-06-2007 DUI
On October 6, 2007, officers observed a vehicle driving in the 500 block of main St., Denver with a flat tire. The vehicle was stopped and was being driven by Zachary Miegel, 19 years of age, N. 9th St., Denver. Miegel displayed signs of intoxication and failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Miegel was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results indicated that Miegel had a BAC of .093%. Charges will be filed against Miegel. (DB)
10-05-2007 Vehicle Theft
Between October 5th and October 6th, 2007, unknown actors stole a 2001 Ford Econoline 350 Van that was parked at Al’s Exxon, 2292 N. Reading Rd., Denver. The vehicle is owned by Joseph Current, Ephrata and is valued at approximately $9,000. (EC)
10-07-2007 Criminal Mischief
Criminal Mischief: Crystal Hurst, Oak Street, Denver, reported on October 7, 2007 at approximately 0225 hours she heard something strike her vehicle. On inspecting the vehicle, the front windshield was smashed by two beer bottles. Damage amount is approx. $300.00. (DB)
