On September 10, 2007 at 1415 hours a 14 year old female from Reamstown was cited for Disorderly Conduct after an incident at the Cocalico High School, 800 S. 4th St., Denver. (DB)

On September 10, 2007 at 1840 hours a 16 year old female from Ephrata was cited for Harassment after an incident in the 600 block of Main St., Denver. (DB)

09-10-2007 Underage Drinking

Sovanny Ouch, 18 years of age, Gerhart Ave., Ephrata, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for an equipment violation. Ouch was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating beverage and charged with Underage Drinking. (EC)

09-10-2007 Attempted Burglary

Between September 10 and September 11, 2007, unknown actors attempted to gain entry into Foxchase Image Products, 460 Stevens Rd., Stevens, PA. (EC)

08-10-2007 Arrest

Jane E. Kuehne, 54 years of age, W. Main St., Ephrata, was charged with Theft by Deception after she issued a closed account check to Rineer Builders in the amount of $2,000 on April 11, 2007 for work that was performed at her residence on W. Main St., Ephrata. Kuehne will be summoned to appear before MDJ Nancy Hamill at a later date. (EC)

09-04-2007 Arrest

Scott Jeremy Girton, 29 years of age, last known address of Hartman Ave., Temple, PA. Warrants have been issued for Scott Jeremy Girton for Robbery and related charges in relation to an incident at the A Plus Sunoco, 1404 N. Reading Rd., Stevens that occurred in the early morning hours of September 4, 2007. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Girton are asked to contact the East Cocalico Township Police Department at 717-336-1725. (EC)

09-11-2007 Theft

R.W. Sauder, 790 Schoeneck Road, Ephrata, reported the business had various aluminum items stolen between September 10, 2007 and September 11, 2007. Items totaled approx. $1,300.00. (WC)

On September 12, 2007 at 1930 hours a 14 year old male juvenile from Adamstown was charged with Harassment after an incident at the Denver Fair. (DB)

09-12-2007 Criminal Mischief

Between September 12, 2007 and September 13, 2007, unknown actors threw a stone through a window at Riviera Pizza, 1405 N. Reading Rd., Denver. (EC)

09-14-2007 Harassment by Communication

Elizabeth M. Goshert, 46 years of age, Project Dr., Denver, was charged with Harassment by Communication. Charges were filed on September 14, 2007. (WC)

09-15-2007 Crash

Paul Castline, Jr, Wabank Rd., Lancaster, was traveling northbound on Reinholds Road and lost control on a curve, turning the vehicle over. Both the driver and the passenger sustained various injuries and were transported to Ephrata Community Hospital. (EC)

09-15-2007 Possession Marijuana/Underage Drinking

Charges are pending against Dextin Orme, 18 years of age, Winding Way Denver for Underage Drinking and Possession of Marijuana after an incident on September 15, 2007 in the 500 block of Hill Road, Denver. (EC)

09-15-2007 Harassment/Underage Drinking

James B. Kriener, 18 years of age, Main St., Denver is being charged with Harassment and Disorderly Conduct after an incident at the Denver Fair on September 15, 2007 at approx. 2100 hours and Tyler Rohrer, 19 year of age, is being cited with Underage Drinking. (DB)

09-15-2007 DUI

On September 15, 2007 at 1643 hours, in the 500 block of Main St., Denver, Justin K. Booth, 26 years of age, River Corner Rd., Conestoga, PA, was observed riding his motorcycle with his legs over the handlebars by officers. Booth was eventually stopped and displayed signs of intoxication. Booth was transported to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results indicated Booth had a BAC of .146%. Charges of DUI and various summary traffic violations. (DB)

09-16-2007 Public Drunkenness

On September 16, 2007 at 0110 hours in the 200 block of W. Church St., Stevens, Ronald Simmons, 46 years of age, was observed staggering along the roadway. Simmons was cited for Public Drunkenness. (EC)

09-15-2007 Public Drunkenness

On September 15, 2007 at 2149 hours at Turkey Hill, 2 Denver Rd., Denver, Jason JA Tomcavage, 34 years of age, Markley Rd., Pennsburg, PA, was observed in the parking lot acting disorderly. Officers approached Tomcavage and found him to be intoxicated. Tomcavage was cited with Public Drunkenness. (EC)

09-16-2007 D.U.I.

On September 16, 2007 at 0240 hours a passerby reported a heavily damaged vehicle along the shoulder of Rt 222. The vehicle then entered the roadway and was followed to the area of 200 Hill Road, Denver. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Bradley W. Walters, 28 years of age, Chapel View Dr., Reinholds, displayed signs of intoxication. Walters failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was transported to the Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Blood test indicated Walters had a BAC of .15%. Investigation revealed that Walters struck a guardrail on Rt. 222 at E. Church St., which caused the damage to the vehicle. Charges are pending against Walters. (EC)
