09-03-2008 Crash

Two people were injured in a one-car crash in the 100 block of South Reamstown Rd. at 2:00PM September 3. A vehicle driven by Ralph Adam, 89, Kutztown, went off the roadway and struck a bridge. He and his passenger, Jane Gottlund, 89, Wyomissing, were taken to Reading Hospital for treatment. [EC]

09-05-2008 Vandalism

During the night of September 4/5, the rear window of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Walnut Street, Denver, was shattered by a rock. The damage is estimated at $500. [DB]

09-06-2008 D.U.I. Crash

Cory Good, 36, Reinholds, faces DUI and related charges after a one-car crash in the 200 block of West Main Street, Reinholds, at 1:40AM September 6. Good failed to stop at an intersection and struck a house. A blood test at ECH indicated he was over the legal limit. [WC]

09-06-2008 Theft from vehicle

Approximately $200 worth of audio equipment was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of east Church Street, Reamstown, during the night of September 6/7. [EC]

09-07-2008 Disoriented Subject

Grant L. Houshower, 50, Denver, faces possible drug violation charges, after he was found in a disoriented state on the porch of a residence in the 600 block of Main Street, Denver, at 1:00PM September 7. [DB]

09-07-2008 Stolen Property Arrest

Robert M. Coleman, 50, Denver, was charged with being in the possession of a stolen vehicle in the 2000 block of North Reading Rd. at 8:20PM September 7. He was arraigned before MDJ Hamill, and committed to LCP in lieu of $20,000 bail. [EC]
