07-24-2007 Burglary

Occurred 7/24/07 in the first block of Wabash Rd., Ephrata, PA. Earl Martin, Wabash Rd, Ephrata, reported unknown actors forcibly entered his residence and removed various jewelry items valued at approximately $300.00 (EC)

07-23-2007 Theft

Occurred between 7/23/07 and 7/24/07 in the 500 block of Walnut St., Denver, PA. Two bikes valued at $80.00 each were removed from the front porch of a residence on Walnut St. (DB)

07-24-2007 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 7/24/07 and 7/25/07 in the 1500 block of Girl Scout Road, Denver. Carol Ruth reported unknown actors damaged her mailbox, which is valued at approximately $30.00. (WC)

07-25-2007 Retail Theft

Occurred 7/25/07 at 1546 at Weaver Markets, 2610 N. Reading Rd., Denver. Cory A. Ruhl, 18 years of age, Walnut St., Denver, removed a bottle of juice from the store without paying for it. Ruhl was charged with Retail Theft. (EC)

07-26-2007 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 7/26/07 and 7/27/07 in the 200 block of Hill Road, Denver. Shantell Ashworth, Hill Road, Denver, reported unknown actors broke the rear window of her vehicle. Unknown damage amount. (EC)

07-27-2007 Vehicle Theft

Occurred 7/27/07 from Hertzog’s Garage, Main St., Denver. A vehicle owned by Lisa Lowrie, Stevens, was taken from the property of Hertzog’s Garage. The vehicle is a 2005 Toyota Camry, silver in color, bearing PA registration GBJ-1819. (DB)

07-28-2007 Public Drunkenness

Occurred 7/28/07 at 0120 hours in the 300 block of Main St., Denver. Mark w. Renz, 47 years of age, Main St., Denver. Renz was charged with Public Drunkenness after a disturbance in the above area. (DB)

07-27-2007 Criminal Mischief

Occurred 7/27/07 at 2357 hours in the first block of S. King St., Stevens. Arthur Brenneman, S. Cocalico Rd., Denver, was stopped at the stop sign on S. King St. when unknown actors threw items at his vehicle. Damage to his vehicle is approximately $100.00 (WC)

07-28-2007 Resisting Arrest

Occurred 7/28/07 at 0118 hours in the 100 block of N. Muddy Creek Rd, Denver. Viktor Fedarinenko, 58 years of age, Buckwheat Dr., Denver, was observed looking in vehicles in the above area. Upon being approached by officers, Fedarinenko ran. Fedarinenko was caught and physically fought with officers. He did manage to free himself and barricaded himself inside his residence. Fedarinenko was again restrained and physically attempted to resist arrest. Fedarinenko will be charged with Loitering and Prowling at Night, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. (EC)

07-27-2007 Theft

Occurred 7/27/07 in the 500 block of Main St., Denver. Allen Shirk, Main St., Denver reported two bikes valued at $50.00 each were removed from the garage area of his residence. (DB)

07-28-2007 Public Drunkenness

Occurred 7/28/07 at 1725 hours at Lausch Rd. Officers received a call regarding an individual hanging over the Lausch Road overpass on Rt. 222. On arrival of officers, Daniel Heidelbaugh, 51 years of ate, Reinholds Rd., Denver, was found in the area. Heidelbaugh showed obvious signs of intoxication and could not keep his balance. Heidelbaugh was transported to his residence and charged with Public Drunkenness. (EC)

07-29-2007 DUI

Occurred 7/29/07 at 0142 hours in the 1300 block of N. Reading Rd., Stevens. Jessica R. Grubb, 19 years of age, Terrace Ave., Stevens, was stopped for executing an improper turn. Grubb displayed signs of intoxication and was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results indicated Grubb had a BAC of .156%. Grubb will be charged with DUI, Underage Drinking, and summary traffic violations. (EC
