06-15-2008 Robbery

Occurred June 15, 2008 at approx. 1859 hours at Subway, 2350 N. Reading Rd., Denver. An unknown male actor entered the Subway, showed a screwdriver as a weapon and demanded cash from the clerk. The male left the area with an undisclosed amount of cash. (EC)

06-18-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred 6/18/08 in the 200 block of Village Spring Lane, Reinholds. Unknown placed a tricycle on the roof of the victim’s vehicle, causing $150.00 damage. (WC)

06-19-2008 Crash

occurred 6/19/08 at 2109 hours at Holtzman Rd. and Dennis Rd., Reinholds. Stewart Herbine was southbound on Holtzman Rd., lost control and went off the right side of the roadway. Herbine was transported to Reading Hospital for injuries. Charges against Herbine are pending. (EC)

06-21-2008 D.U.I. / Possession of Marijuanna

Occurred 6/21/08 at 1955 hours in the 300 block of Railroad St., Denver. Vincent A. Orner, 19 years of age, S. 4th St., Denver, was stopped for having a broken windshield and no driver side mirror. Orner had an obvious odor of an intoxicating beverage on his breath. Orner failed Standardized Field Sobriety tests and was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Orner’s BAC was over the legal limit. Orner was also found to be in possession of marijuana. Charges of DUI and Possession of Marijuana will be filed against Orner. (DB)

06-21-2008 Underage Drinking/Furnishing Alcohol

Occurred 6/21/08 at 2320 hours in the 100 block of W. Main St., Reinholds. Three individuals are being charged after causing a disturbance in the above area. David L. Stoltzfus, Jr , 18 years of age, Meadville Rd, Gap, was charged with Underage Drinking. Daniel King Stoltzfus, 21 years of age, S. Fort Zellers Rd., Newmanstown, PA was charged with Furnishing Alcohol to Minors and Stevie Lee Lapp, 21 years of age, E. Reistville Rd., Myerstown, was charged with Public Drunkenness. (WC)

06-21-2008 Harassment

Occurred between 6/21/08 and 6/22/08 in the 400 block of Grant Rd., Adamstown. Carl J. Sydnor, 55 years of age, W. Main St., Adamstown, continually called and threatened a residence on Grant Rd. in Adamstown. Sydnor is being charged with summary Harassment. (AB)

06-21-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 6/21/08 and 6/22/08 in the 100 block of S. Ridge Rd., Reinholds. Unknown actors destroyed a tee flag at the Springside Golf Course on S. Ridge Rd., Reinholds. The damage estimate is approximately $80.00. (WC)

06-22-2008 Harassment

Occurred 6/22/08 at 0919 hours in the 400 block of Stonecrest Ct., Stevens. Eugene F. Thomas, 56 years of age, Stonecrest Ct., Stevens, entered into a verbal argument with a neighbor, which then turned physical. Thomas will be cited with summary Harassment as a result of the incident. (EC)

06-21-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 6/21/08 and 6/22/08 in the first block of E. Main St., Reinholds. Unknown actors broke a tiki torch and dented the victim’s vehicle. Unknown damage amount at this time. (WC)

06-22-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred 6/22/08 at approx 1411 hours at the Reinholds Inn, 11 W. Main St., Reinholds. Unknown actors started a fire under a fence to the rear of the property causing damage to three boards of the fence. (WC)

06-22-2008 Criminal Mischief

A resident in the first block of Steeple Ct., Reinholds reported a Freon line to his air conditioner was cut and the fuse was pulled from an electrical box. This was reported to police on 6/22/08. The damage amount to repair the unit is $850.00. (WC)

06-20-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 6/20/08 and 6/22/08 in the first block of Steeple Ct., Reinholds. Unknown actors cut the electrical lines to an air conditioner and removed wire. The damage amount is approx. $200.00. (WC)

06-20-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 6/20/08 and 6/22/08 at the Denver Park, 800 Main St.,. Denver. Unknown actors spray painted graffiti on the rear wall of the snack bar. Unknown damage amount. (DB)

06-23-2008 Retail Theft

Occurred 6/23/08 at 1411 hours at Weaver Markets, 2610 N. Reading Rd., Denver. Ling Mei, 29 year of age, Misty Meadow, Reinholds, PA, was charged with Retail Theft after leaving the store with over $60.00 of merchandise she did not pay for. (EC)

06-23-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 6/23/08 and 6/24/08 at the Reamstown Pool, Ream Rd., Reamstown. Unknown actors threw clay flower pots and a bicycle wheel into the pool. Unknown damage amount at this time. (E)
