03-26-2008 Weapons Offense

Occurred March 26, 2008 at Cocalico High School, S. 4th St., Denver. A 15 year old male juvenile was in possession of a pen knife on school property. The juvenile will be charged with Possession of a Weapon on School Property. (DB)

03-26-2008 Crash

Occurred March 26, 2008 at the intersection of W. Swartzille Rd. and Homestead Dr., Denver. Alyssa Christ, Homestead Dr., Denver, was traveling westbound on W. Swartzille Rd. and stopped to make a turn onto Homestead Dr. A vehicle driven by Valerie Reiff, James Dr., Reinholds, rear ended Christ’s vehicle, pushing Christ into the eastbound lane of W. Swartzville Rd, head-on into a vehicle driven by Justine Rudy, Fairview St., Reading. Christ was transported to Ephrata Community Hospital for injuries. Rudy and a passenger in her vehicle were transported to Lancaster General Hospital for injuries. All vehicles were towed from the scene. (EC)

03-26-2008 Crash

Occurred March 26, 2008 at the intersection of Locust St. and N. 6th St., Denver. Joyce Good, Willow St., Reinholds, pulled from a stop sign on Locust St. into the path of a vehicle driven by Gregory Hirneisen, Galen Hall Rd., Reinholds. Good’s vehicle sustained severe driver’s side damage. Good was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital with chest injuries. (DB)

03-28-2008 Theft

Occurred between March 28, 2008 and March 31, 2008 from Vertex Mechanical, 21 Stevens Rd., Stevens, PA. Unknown actors removed $150.00 worth of gas out of various work vans parked at the above listed business. (EC)
