03-12-2008 Theft of Trailers

Occurred between March 11 and March 12, 2008 from Gold Rush Trailers, 920 Stone Hill Rd., Denver. A Vintage trailer valued at $11,500 and a Royal trailer valued at $15,200 were removed from the property of Gold Rush Trailers. (EC)

03-16-2008 DUI

Occurred March 16, 2008 at approx. 0131 hours in the 2100 block of N. Reading Rd., Denver. Brian A. Miller, 28 years of age, Oriole Dr., Ephrata. Miller was stopped for speeding and displayed signs of intoxication. Miller failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was transported to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Blood Tests indicated Miller had a BAC over the legal limit. Charges will be filed against Miller. (EC)

03-16-2008 Arrest

Steven A. Eversole, 44 years of age, Florida was charged with Theft by Deception and Rhonda L. Babb, 42 years of age, Florida was charged with Theft by Deception and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception. The East Cocalico Township Police Department investigated two incidents of Theft by Deception that occurred at two local Turkey Hill convenience stores. The above individiuals entered the stores, removed map books from shelves and then approached the counter and asked to return the books for cash. The individuals typically received between $50 to $70. The individuals were observed leaving the scene in a vehicle that was found at a local motel. Both individuals were taken into custody and arragined on the above charges. Eversole and Babb are currently in Lancaster County Prison. (EC)
