02-25-2008 DUI

Occurred 2/25/2008 at 2110 hours in the 2200 block of N. Reading Rd., Denver. Brian R. Franck, 56 years of age, 22 Hinden Homes, Denver, was stopped for erratic driving and displayed signs of intoxication. Franck was uncooperative and Field Sobriety Tests were not performed. Franck was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results indicated Franck had a BAC over the legal limit. Charges will be filed against Franck. (EC

02-26-2008 Theft

Occurred between 2/10/08 and 2/26/08 at Adams Antiques, 2400 N. Reading Rd., Denver. Linda Carannante, Pottstown, reported various items were removed from her antique stand. Items are valued at approx. $250.00. (EC)

02-26-2008 Burglary

Occurred between 2/26/08 and 2/27/08 in the 100 block of Beech St., Denver. Unknown actors entered a residence through an unlocked door and took the victims purse and a digital camera. Total of items taken is $650.00. (DB)

02-27-2008 Theft from Vehicle

Occurred on 2/27/08 in the 100 block of Beech St., Denver. Unknown actors entered the victims unlocked vehicle and removed a purse and cash totaling approximately $80.00. (DB)

02-27-2008 Retail Theft

Occurred 2/27/08 at 1645 hours at Weaver Markets, 2610 N. Reading Rd., Denver. A 14 year old juvenile male from Denver and a 16 year old juvenile male from Denver were charged with Retail Theft after attempting to remove approximately $10.00 worth of items from the store. (EC)

02-28-2008 Retail Theft

Occurred 2/28/08 at 1249 hours at Weaver Markets, 2610 N. Reading Rd., Denver. Lynda LaBar, 45 years of age, Crest Ave., Lancaster, was charged with Retail Theft, misdemeanor, after attempting to remove approximately $14.00 worth of merchandise from the store. (EC)

02-29-2008 DUI

Occurred 2/29/08 at 0159 hours at N. Reading Rd. and W. Church St., Stevens. Crystal A. Binkley, 21 years of age, Main St., Denver, was stopped for speeding. Binkley displayed signs of intoxication and failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Binkley was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Test results revealed Binkley had a BAC over the legal limit. Charges will be filed against Binkley. (EC)

02-29-2008 Theft from Vehicle

Occurred on 2/29/08 in the first block of Bunker Hill Road, Stevens. Unknown actors removed a lap top and game system from an unlocked vehicle. Total amount of the property taken is approximately $740.00 (EC)

03-01-2008 DUI

Occurred 3/1/08 at 0130 hours in the first block of Bunker Hill Road, Stevens. Officers received a complaint of a vehicle driving recklessly. Officers located the vehicle in the first block of Bunker Hill Road. Andrew James Corson, 23 years of age, Bunker Hill Road, Denver, was the driver of the vehicle and displayed signs of intoxication. Corson failed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood test. Tests results indicated Corson had a BAC over the legal limit. Charges will be filed against Corson. (EC)

Occurred between 2/23/08 and 3/1/08 in the 700 block of Wollups Hill Road, Stevens. Unknown actors removed a Eveinrude outboard motor from a property on Wollups Hill Road. The motor is valued at approximately $800.00. (WC)
