01-21-2008 Criminal Mischief

Unknown actors threw a stone breaking the outside glass of a double pane window of a residence in the 100 block of Willow St., Adamstown. The incident was reported on 1/21/08, unknown when the actual damage occurred. (AB)

01-19-2008 Theft from Vehicle

Occurred between 1/19/08 and 1/20/08 in the first block of Stevens Rd., Stevens. Unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle and removed approx. $3.00 of change. (EC)

01-19-2008 Theft from Vehicle

Occurred between 1/19/08 and 1/2/08 in the first block of Stevens Rd, Stevens. Unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle and removed approx. $3.00 in change. (EC)

01-21-2008 Crash

Occurred 1/21/08 at 1800 hours in the 700 block of S. Reamstown Rd., Ephrata. Joshua Fultz, Reinholds, lost control while rounding a curve in the roadway, left the roadway and struck a tree broadside with the driver door. Severe damage to the vehicle. Fultz was transported to Lancaster General Hospital by Reamstown Ambulance. (EC)

Occurred between 1/19/08 and 1/20/08 in the first block of S. Line Road, Stevens. Unknown actors entered two unlocked vehicles and removed approx. $1.50. (EC)

01-18-2008 Criminal Mischief

Occurred between 1/18/08 and 1/19/08 in the first block of Mockingbird Dr., Denver. Unknown actors spray painted the driveway and mailbox of a residence. Estimated damage of $230.00. (EC)

01-15-2008 Arrest

Harry J. Regester, 27 years of age, E. Summit Dr., Stevens, was charged with Burglary and Theft as a result of an incident that occurred on January 15, 2008 at approximately 0200 hours in the first block of E. Summit Dr., Stevens. The stolen property that was taken from this residence was recovered at Regester’s residence, as well as a business in Ephrata Borough. Regester was arraigned before MDJ Nancy Hamill, and was freed on $40,000 bail. (EC)

01-26-2008 Crash

Occurred 1/26/08 at 1811 hours on W. Rt. 897 and Sportsman Rd., Reinholds. Stacy Cassler, Lititz, was traveling east on W. Rt. 897, failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection of Sportsman Rd., lost control and crashed into a tree. Reinholds Ambulance transported Cassler to Lancaster General Hospital. (WC)

01-27-2008 DUI Crash

Occurred 1/27/08 at 0221 hours in the 410 Hahnstown Rd., Ephrata. Nathan Brubaker, 18 years of age, Glenwood Dr., Ephrata was southbound on Hahnstown Rd. and lost control, left the roadway and struck a stone house at the above location. Brubaker was transported to Ephrata Community Hospital for a blood tests. Test results indicated Brubaker’s BAC was over the legal limit. Charges are pending against Brubaker. (EC)

01-08-2008 Arrest

Misty L. Oberholtzer, 27 years of age, Swamp Bridge Rd., Stevens, was charged with Burglary and Theft in relation to an incident occurring in the 100 block of Sandy Hill Road, Denver. The incident was reported on January 8, 2008 where approximately $6,100.00 of property was taken from a residence. Oberholtzer was arraigned on these charges and was released after posting $5,000.00 bail. (WC)

01-04-2008 Arrest

Misty L. Oberholtzer, 27 years of age, Swamp Bridge Rd., Stevens, was charged with Burglary and Theft in relation to an incident occurring in the 800 block of Smokestown Rd., Denver, reported on January 4, 2008 where approximately $600.00 of property was taken. Oberholtzer was arraigned on these charges and was released after posting $5,000.00 bail. (EC)

01-04-2008 Arrest

Suzanne L. Melot, 38 years of age, W. Second St., Bernville, PA was charged with two counts of Identity Theft in relation to opening several credit card accounts using personal information belong to two separate victims. The accounts were used for cash advances, internet transactions and point of sale purchased totaling approximately $47,000.00. The incidents occurred between 2006 and 2007. Melot was arraigned before MDJ Nancy Hamill and released after posting $10,000 bail. (AB)

01-04-2008 Arrest

John L. Andres, 49 years of age, Willow Brook Drive, Norristown, PA, was charged with Receiving Stolen Property in relation to an incident where two watches valued at approximately $3,600 were stolen from an antique dealer doing business in the 2800 block of N. Reading Rd., Adamstown. The incident was reported to the police on August 26, 2007. Andrews was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant related to this incident. Andrews was arraigned before MDJ Willwerth and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $40,000 bail. (AB)
