The Rev. Larry G. Hummer is the current pastor of Faith United Lutheran Church.

Pastor Hummer is a graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg and Gettysburg College. He was born and raised in Hershey.

Pastor Hummer has continued his education in all areas of parish ministry. Of special interest to him are preaching, worship, teaching, stewardship, evangelism, and planning.

As part of his ministry, Pastor Hummer serves as a member of the Board of Directors of LUTHERCARE and is chairman of the Lower Susquehanna Synod's Stewardship Committee. He is a certified police chaplain and serves as chaplain for the East Cocalico Police Department and the Denver Fire Company. He is also an active firefighter with the Denver Fire Company.

For recreation, Pastor Hummer enjoys walking, reading, and most sports. He has an affinity for professional sport teams in Pittsburgh.

Pastor Hummer is married to Alice Kovach Hummer. Alice is an elementary principal in the Manheim Township School District. They have one son, Matthew
